The Condair HP unit provides adiabatic humidification and cooling in an air handling unit or duct at low energy costs. A system of nozzles located transverse to the air flow sprays water under high pressure, creating a fine mist that is quickly absorbed by the air. A droplet separator installed further downstream of the air flow removes unevaporated moisture from the air, providing drip-free humidification.
The nozzle circuits are connected to a high-pressure pumping station and a water treatment system. Demineralized water is supplied to the nozzles at a pressure of 60-70 bar. One pumping station is capable of supplying water to several nozzle circuits in several ventilation units, providing a flow rate of up to 1300 kg/h of moisture. The system provides high humidification performance and provides cooling capacity of up to 884 kW with a power consumption of only 2.2 kW.
Hygienic operation is ensured by ultraviolet sterilization and regular flushing cycles to prevent stagnation of water in the system.
