Desiccant dryers are ideal for operating at low temperatures and for drying to very low humidity levels. The Condair DA model operates effectively at temperatures down to -30 °C and can dehumidify air down to 10% relative humidity.
A variety of additional modules can be connected to the dryer, including coolers, heat exchangers and condensing modules.
A heat exchanger can be connected to the dehumidifier, which will use natural gas, hot water or steam for heating and thereby reduce the cost of operating the system. Such a heat exchanger can work together with a standard electric heater. Models with a capacity of up to 20 kg/h are equipped with self-regulating electric regeneration air heaters with a positive temperature coefficient.
The dehumidifier can be controlled using the built-in touch display or via a management system (BMS), Modbus, which is included as standard, or other common protocols.
The fans are installed in front of the rotor, this avoids their contact with hot humid air and increases the service life of the fans.
Peculiarities
- Work at low temperatures; dehumidification to very low humidity levels, 10–50%.
- Operating temperature: -30...+40 °C.
- Dry air capacity of standard models: from 160 to 9,400 m3/h.
- The fan is installed in front of the rotor and does not come into contact with hot, humid air.
- A wide range of accessories and options allows you to adapt the dehumidifier to any task.
- The dehumidified air can be supplied directly into the room or into the air duct of the ventilation system.
